Payment Options

Full settlement

• Cash.
• Visa, MasterCard or Maestro.
• Cheques.  As from 30th June 2011, The Payments Council will be closing the Cheque Card Guarantee Scheme.  This means that cards containing the cheque guarantee hologram will no longer be accepted.  Here at Lyme Bay Dentistry we will only be accepting cheques for payments over £1,000.00.

Lyme Bay Dentistry Payment Plan

An arrangement can be made on an individual basis for our clients to pay fees using our in house payment plan.

• Fees in excess of £1000 may be paid by post-dated cheques over a 3 month period.

0% Finance

An arrangement can be made on an individual basis for our clients to pay fees by 0% finance courtesy of Medenta Finance.

• Fees in excess of £1500 may be paid over a period of 6, 9 or 12 months on 0% finance using the Medenta Finance payment scheme (subject to acceptance).

Longer term finance

• Fees in excess of £2000 may be paid over a period of 24 or 36 months on low interest finance using the Medenta Finance payment scheme (subject to acceptance). Please ask for current rates.

Discount

A 5% discount can be applied to all treatments over the value of £1500.00 if paid in advance of treatment.

Settlement of Fees

As of 1st April 2010, changes made by the Office of Fair Trading to the consumer's credit licence means that Lyme Bay Dentistry will no longer be able to operate an account system.  We will require fees to be settled at the appointment where treatment is provided.  Where treatment incurs a laboratory fee, you may be asked to settle half or the full amount in advance.

Lyme Bay Dentistry reserves the right to apply interest at the rate of 5% above the current NatWest base rate on overdue fees and to make a charge for any debt incurred by our debt collection agency or for returned cheques.

In the case of dental treatment provided under insurance schemes or finance agreements, the patient remains liable for payment.

Fees for treatment where sedation is included, must be settled prior to the appointment to avoid financial transactions, or signatures being required, whilst a client is still under the influence of the sedative.
