After leaving Aylesbury High, Leila went to study dentistry at Sheffield University and graduated in 2001. She stayed working in the Sheffield and North Derbyshire area for another 6 years after graduation, and then decided to go back home to Aylesbury in 2007. Leila continued to work in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in private practices for another 15 years combining these with teaching clinical dentistry at Kings College London and lecturing at University College London on the Masters Sports Medicine course. Her last practice was in her home village of Aston Clinton which she loved. She says there was something very special about treating the community she grew up in, her family, friends, old school teachers and even primary school dinner ladies. The familiarity with them, and the local area was a joy. Leila spent 7 years working in Aston Clinton whilst her daughter was small, before deciding to relocate to the beautiful Jurassic coast for new adventures with her family in 2022.

Leila is credited by many patients and colleagues for her kind and caring manner, and she is dental phobia trained and has dedicated her career to being able to put her patients at ease.

Leila has a passion for orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry, she enjoys being able to take patients through a journey from their first appointment with her calm and reassuring manner, to treatment planning and clear explanation of the next step, every step of the way. When a patient is lacking confidence with their smile Leila strives to put the patient first and create the most aesthetically pleasing outcome to ensure all her patients leave confident and happy. Leila uses different treatments and techniques to give patients many different options like teeth straightening, using the world renowned Invisalign system of removable clear aligners, whitening, fillings and veneers and crowns.

In Leila's spare time she enjoys collecting apples from her orchard and renovating her “new” old house, also taking long walks with the family dogs. Animals, gardening and cooking are her passions. She loves growing her own then cooking up a storm for friends and family and spending her early mornings feeding the chickens, rabbits and tortoises and watering the plants before heading in to work. She enjoys getting out on the water with family and friends exploring the coastline on the paddle board and is planning to get involved with the local gig club.

Leila has been a qualified Pilates teacher for over 3 years, she decided to teach Body Control Pilates in her spare time while raising a young family and working as a dentist. Leila is very driven and passionate about helping people.

Lily is thrilled to have settled on the South Coast after originally growing up in Lincoln.

She started her journey in Dentistry by gaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene from Cardiff University in 2017.

She then continued her journey in Dentistry completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at Sheffield University in 2023.

Lily’s passion from a young age has always been dentistry and she has a breadth of experience, having spent time working alongside specialists in Orthodontics, Implantology and Oral Surgery.

Lily is passionate about delivering high quality care to patients and particularly enjoys reassuring anxious patients throughout their dental journey.

After first hand experience of the importance of early detection of head & neck cancer, she is passionate about prevention and is involved in campaigning for mouth cancer awareness.

Lily was elected as the foundation dentist representative 2023 of the Young Dentists Committee and the British Dental Association representative for Sheffield 2021-2023. She also completed the British Dental Association’s future leaders programme.

Outside of dentistry Lily values spending quality time with friends, cooking and being out in nature; especially making the most of the Dorset coast with walking and wild swimming.
